Tuscany Engagement Session

While in Tuscany we stayed at this beautiful place called Castel Monastero Resort in the Provence of Siena in Italy. Like its namesake, this hotel used to be a monastery. I love that they kept a lot of the original structures and cobblestone walkways. And they girls LOVED their pool! They kept to the more shallow pool for the kids and floated around in the unicorn floaty as often as they could (before having to share it with other kids).

I took a day off of work after the wedding at Villa Montanare and relaxed poolside with the family. We had dinner at the hotel in their La Cantina restaurant. The food was yummy and the restaurant is super cool (literally). It’s inside a wine cave that they’ve turned into a restaurant. It’s a romantic vibe in there and next time, we’ll probably go without the kiddos lol.

After a day off, I went back to work with day 1 of 2 with Nyachia of NKT Events. But can you even call it work when you’re driving all around Tuscany and creating beautiful images of stunning people with the most fun and talented creatives?!

If only we video taped our adventures that day because it was pretty awesome. I drove our two models (Kendell and Mattia), the designer and planner Nyachia, and the fabulous hair and makeup talent Trine Juel in the Range Rover. Yes, the same Range Rover that Jake side swiped in Lake Como. Keep in mind that I don’t own a Range Rover and I’ve never driven in another country before… so…. it was fun times for sure. At the end of the day we were on our way to a restaurant and we drove by this beautiful long driveway lined with trees and I remember shouting “omg we HAVE to go there and take some more pictures! Everybody hold on!” I illegally made a u-turn, driving the wrong side of the street and turned into the driveway. All in the name of photos am I right? lol

Here are some photos from the Engagement day.
