Europe Trip Part 1: France
4.9.2020
This blog post is loooooong overdue. And with all of us quarantined at home due to COVID-19, I figured I should dust off my blog and give it some life. This also gives me the chance to reminisce over our European trip we took as a family last summer.
I’m going to break these posts up into three parts: France, Scotland and Italy. And in between I’ll post the weddings and shoots I did along the way.
So here it goes!
We began our trip in Paris, France. The flight was long with the girls (ages 4 and 7) but with the help of kids’ melatonin gummies they slept for the majority of the flight. We only spent a day in Paris to stretch our legs and explore the city a bit and to show the girls the Eiffel Tower. It was a mini stop over on our way down to Southern France. Next time we travel, I hope to spend more time in Paris with the girls.
Paris has a special place in my heart… Fall 2018, Jake and I spent some time in Paris and it was the best trip ever! We ate, we drank, we walked the streets of Paris with a cup of onion soup in our hands, we explored museums, and people watched as we sat at street cafes. Ever since, it’s been a love affair with Paris and everything Parisian.
